Hi Everyone! It's me, Maddy. Sorry I've been a little MIA the past several weeks, but it's been one BUSY summer for me. Won't go into all the details just yet...but to give you an idea, I've had to make appearances at 4 weddings, 2 birthing class reunions, visit my cousin Elise in California, get a few shots (not cool), hang out at the mall with my girlfriends, host a party, yadda-yadda-yadda...a girl's gotta go to the mall and attend a few social gatherings, no?
...I really love bath-time. There's nothing like having your loved ones bathe you....this must continue for a long, long time. Eventually, I'll be the one bathing those same loved ones many years from now...But for now, I will enjoy.
before I continue, my lovely mother felt the need to include this photo just to show the whole world that her daughter looks like a Happy Buddha. This is so wrong on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin. Mom, I have 2 words for you...Nursing Home. (ok just kidding.) Guess What? I turned 100 days old today. According to Korean tradition, it is customary to celebrate the passing of a baby's first 100 days since in the ancient times, infant mortality rates were so high as technological and medicinal advancements were non-existant. You may wonder how I, as a 100-day old baby, could possibly know words such as "technological" or "advancements" or "customary"....that, you'd have to speak to my parents about. Don't quite know what they're putting in my bottle or dipping my binky in...
thanks for my flowers, Daddy....you're the best. My favorite Daddy, by far.... Aunt Cindy was my bodyguard for the evening. Uncle Andy likes to crash other people's photo ops.
Not only am I blessed with two sets of healthy grandparents living within a 25 mile radius, I am so fortunate that God has blessed me with Great-Grandparents who can watch me grow....this is my maternal Great-Grandfather, he'll be 80 years old next year and you know what? He's healthier than any 80-year-old that I know. I also have my paternal Great-Grandfather in Korea....I hope to meet him very soon. I just really like my smile in this one.... Thanks for my Chair Aunt Cindy! ...that's all folks, Maddy signing off. **Today's posting dedicated to Aunt Jinny who is faithfully serving God on the mission field.
